As Nareth navigates the Great Crusade's politics and the Emperor of Mankind's expectations for his 11th son, the Black Emperor must decide whether to serve the Imperium that created him or forge his own path through the galaxy. The Primarch chosen by disorder is the one variable that neither the Emperor nor the Chaos Gods planned for, and the Black Emperor's path will determine whether the galaxy burns or transforms.
