Hi! My name is redacted, but most people just call me Focaccia Bread -- or Foca. I am writing this mostly for fun, but also to share my stories, my questionable decisions, and the absolute chaos that comes with running an entertainment company in a world where talent is currency and scandals are the national sport. My company started as a joke -- a bet between friends that spiraled into a real business. Now I manage artists who range from genuinely talented to spectacularly unhinged, navigate industry politics that would make Machiavelli weep, and somehow keep the lights on despite my accountants' constant attempts to have me committed. The entertainment industry is not what the public sees. Behind the glamour is a machine that chews up talent and spits out broken dreams. My job is to protect my artists from that machine while making enough money to keep the machine from eating us instead. It is exhausting, exhilarating, and occasionally involves explaining to a judge why one of my artists was found sleeping on a public fountain at 3 AM. This is my life as a CEO. God help me.
