fantasyreincarnationAuthor: Akazatl|Status: Completed
Twenty-nine attempts to defeat the Corrupted God, and twenty-nine failures. Each time he dies, he reincarnates in the same world, carrying memories of every previous life and every previous defeat. On his thirtieth attempt, something changes -- he reincarnates into the body of a character he has never even heard of, in a part of the world his previous lives never explored. The new body and location should be a disadvantage, but the reincarnator has twenty-nine lives of accumulated knowledge. He knows every enemy's weakness, every ally's potential, and every mistake that led to the Corrupted God's victory. The problem was never knowledge -- it was execution. Each previous life failed because the same patterns repeated, the same alliances crumbled, and the same betrayals occurred. On this thirtieth life, the reincarnator breaks every pattern. He avoids the allies who betrayed him, recruits the enemies who surprised him, and makes choices that his previous selves never daredattempted. The Corrupted God, accustomed to defeating the same opponent in different forms, faces something new: a reincarnator who has learned from twenty-nine failures and is finally ready to win.
