Chapter 70: Chapter 69

Luna was feeling bored out of her skull. Every day, all she did was eat, drink, rest, and occasionally complain about her brain slowing down. But when I mentioned needing to find out if Monica was pregnant, she immediately offered to take on the task. "Great. I’ll keep investigating Monica, too, and try to find a way to get those negatives back." I gratefully squeezed Luna’s hand, "Luna, thank you." Why are you thanking me? We’re tight, remember? Let’s go. I’ll go with you to visit your mom in the hospital today." Luna grabbed her coat and off we went back to the hospital. I knew about all of this. I don’t care. I’m just waiting for Damon to divorce me." Luna’s mouth gaped wide open, her eyes nearly popping out. She took a while to digest my words, her voice tinged with excitement and admiration "Eliana, you mean Damon’s the one refusing to divorce?" I nodded.

"Holy crap, good for you! No wonder you’re so chill now!" Luna seemed delighted, like she’d won the lottery. When I first came back to life, I told them that I wanted to divorce Damon, but it hadn’t happened yet.
