As the restaurant grows from a desperate dream into a community gathering place, it becomes a beacon of hope in a world without its hero. The villainess discovers that the warmth of a good meal and the company of someone who sees her as a person rather than a villain heals wounds that power never could. Theo's last wish may not save the world, but it saves the people in it -- and sometimes that is enough.
