Yujin trades his staff for a spatula, his spells for recipes, and his legendary status for the humble title of snack shop owner. The students who visit his shop have no idea that the cheerful cook behind the counter could obliterate armies. But retirement from heroism does not mean retirement from life. The academy's students bring their own dramas -- rivalries, romance, academic pressure, and the occasional monster attack that threatens the campus. Yujin finds himself drawn into their lives, using his vast knowledge and hidden power not to save the world but to help a struggling student pass an exam, comfort a homesick freshman, or protect his shop from the latest magical disaster. The retired sage discovers that saving the world was important, but feeding it is more fulfilling.
