Chapter 11: Chapter Eleven

Camilla walked away from the dining room. She needed some fresh air. The smell of spilled soup and the whole cliche performance gave her a small headache. She walked down a long hallway on the second floor of the huge mansion. At the end of the hallway, there was a large stone balcony. She pushed the glass doors open and stepped outside.

The afternoon sun was still bright, but the dark clouds from earlier had disappeared. A gentle breeze blew through her hair. Camilla rested her hands on the cold stone railing. She looked down at the large, paved courtyard in front of the main gates.
