When Avery returned to the house, all she could hear was an endless series of "I love you Angel’’ coming from the plush toy that her son was constantly pressing. He was exceptionally happy in one moment and in the next, he ran over to her and looked at her with adorable eyes, holding the chibi toy up to her. Knowing her son, she knew what he was implying. He was missing his papa—already!—and was asking if he could see him again.

"Well done, Damon D’aboville." She muttered under her breath. The bloke had managed to get her son attached to him within one short visit.
