When Damon and I pulled up at the Chemical Plant, there were already a bunch of guys, all in their forties or fifties, gathered at the entrance shouting something. As soon if as they saw Damon’s car, they all turned to look our way. "What are we doing here?" I got a bad feeling about this and asked Damon the moment we stopped the car "We’re here to negotiate." Damon responded casually as if the angry mobs were not about to pounce on him. As Damon was about to get out of the car, I quickly made my position clear, "I’m not going there, you go!" If a fight broke out, a weakling like me would be knocked out cold. Damon retorted coldly. "Whether you like it or not, you’re going. Remember you’re my secretary now. Do you want me to tell my mom about your poor work? I was fed up. How dare Damon use his mom to threaten me? And yet, I had no choice but to suck it up since it was Lisa who pressured me into working as a personal secretary at Coleman Co. If she found out about my bad attitude, she would have a poor impression of me. I gritted my teeth, "Fine, let’s go!" After getting out of the car, I followed behind Damon, heading towards the furious crowd. "Are you Mr. Coleman from Coleman Co.?" The man leading the group, around fifty and a bit chubby with a not-so-great appearance, was Ariel’s dad "Yes, I’m here today to discuss the compensation for the demolition of residential houses. Would you care to represent the group and have a chat with me in the car? Damon asked politely.

I thought the power of love had turned the usually arrogant Damon into a polite and humble gentleman in front of his future father-in-law. Dean seemed surprised by Damon’s politeness.
