The flame from the lamp flickered on its own, casting different angles of shadows on his face. He almost resembled one of those storytellers who would gather little children in folklore and tell them stories in the dark.

"Every Alpha Family is Special in their own way, especially the ones at the top. The Pendragon Family were the descendants of an Alpha who once ruled, much worse than Cain. It was about a thousand years ago, and his name was Alpha Alcaeus Pendragon. But not many knew his real name, hence some nicknames that struck came along.
