Blaise watched her walk away and resisted the urge to grab hold of her waist and tug her into his lap,he has long learned his lessons. Bree wasn’t like those usual females with whom he used to spend his nights with, she was more defiant more in control and never let any man take that control out of her grasp. Even now when she was no longer the same as she was before, there was something about her that made it impossible to just grab hold of a fistful of her hair and drop her to her knees. It should be easy, he has done it multiple times but he didn’t want to treat his mate with the same intensity as he treated his one night stands, she wasn’t prepared for it and most probably she would gut him in the stomach if he was to so much as try getting hold of her.

He has seen the flash of desire when he has approached her right now, she was of course attracted to him. She liked his face along with his body of course there was nothing different about that, even though he was a crazy and unhinged archmage, he was in the end a very gorgeous archmage. Women flocked to him and he never had any trouble taking them down either but Bree was different she was attracted to him on another level that had nothing to do with platonic emotions but she didn’t want to act on her emotions. He could sense that she wasn’t playing hard to get,if he was to try and force her in a corner maybe she will let him do as he wanted after she was done roasting him alive but that would be it.
