During the night, Xie Yuansheng kept pulling her towards him even if she went an inch away from him. By the time it was morning, Feng Xinying had turned towards him and curled into him and his hands and legs were on top of her pressing her into the mattress. She woke up feeling hot as sweat trickled down her back. When she opened her eyes, the first thing she noticed was his chest because the buttons of his shirt had opened up. Startled, as to when did she turn, she tried to wake up only to be restricted by his hands and legs that were around her like ivy. One of his hands was under her and the other one had curled around her, caging her completely. She exhaled heavily and then slowly removed his hand and leg. He stirred a little but didn’t wake up so she got up from the bed and left his room quietly to take a shower.

By the time she dressed and came out, it was already time to leave for the office. She thought to peep in his room to see how he was doing but then turned towards the dining area. To her surprise, he was over there on the table applying jam on his bread with a knife furiously as though he would kill that bread.
