But she was not able to comprehend his statement. She became tired after going through a lot of pictures and then just gave up at the end. She changed and went off to sleep.

Xie Yuansheng lit a cigarette and puffed smoke in the living room. He had sat down on the sofa after Feng Xinying had left and rested his head behind after lighting a cigarette. He remembered everything about them. When they were young, their mothers were best friends. Feng Xinying’s mother Cai Xin would spend her time with Xie Yuansheng’s mother Xie Biyu, whenever she was in the country. Her father was always so busy that she would end up going to her and spending her day rather than spending time with the socialites around.
