Despite everything, I still had my arms around his body as if I was hanging on to dear life. There was probably no logical reason but only my stubbornness that kept me hanging on to him. The cold look that he had in his eyes transformed momentarily into a look of desire. With amazing speed, Bradon untangled my arms from around his body before pushing me down onto the bed. I felt the softness of the mattress against my back before the bed shifted under his weight as he climbed onto the bed and on top of me.
