For some reason, whenever he told me not to worry, I always found myself worrying about him. At least it seemed like he was just coming home late to avoid me because of our argument from last time. I wanted to ask him more about his work or what was going on in his life but decided to hold my tongue.
“It’s all done now. Your hair is dry now,” I announced while feeling a little proud of myself before putting the hair dryer to the side.
