Zen carried Nyx out of the steamy bathroom and into the massive master bedroom, leaving a trail of wet footprints across the incredibly soft, dark grey carpet.
The bedroom was enormous, dominated by a floor-to-ceiling glass wall that offered a breathtaking view of the glittering Omni Domain. Neon lights, flying vehicles, and towering skyscrapers bathed the room in shifting hues of violet, cyan, and gold.
But Zen didn’t care about the view outside.
