Having finished her bath in the bathroom, Yukinoshita Shizuku changed into her pajamas and walked back to the living room. Tsushima Kagami had also long since dried himself off and changed into a set of dry clothes.
He poured the brewed ginger soup into a cup and handed it to Yukinoshita Shizuku. Then, picking up a cup for himself, he walked over to the sofa on the side and sat down. After accepting the ginger soup, Yukinoshita Shizuku also walked over to Tsushima Kagami's side. Holding the hot cup of ginger tea with both hands, she sat down.
Outside the window, the wind and rain had not ceased. The faint sounds of the storm beating against the windows and billboards could still be heard, yet Yukinoshita Shizuku felt incredibly at peace in this moment.
