Jennifer sat to the left of Mavi, her pure white pleated dress draping elegantly over her seat. Due to the curve of the chair, more of her beautiful legs were exposed. Even if Mavi tried not to look, the bright, fair skin still caught his eye from his peripheral vision, stirring an urge to reach out and gently touch it.
Today, Jennifer had also deliberately applied a pleasant perfume. Even though Mavi kept his gaze forward, he could still catch the faint floral fragrance emanating from her.
"Mavi, have you ever seen Carmen before?" Jennifer asked curiously before the opera began.
