Chapter 48: Worry
Iris left the restaurant feeling quite full. She had eaten a lot — two servings, to be precise. Even though she had enjoyed the delicious food, she couldn’t help but feel a tad embarrassed about consuming two servings in front of Xavier.
She secretly wished she could just vanish from the scene, but, of course, that wasn’t an option. Thus, she had no choice but to bear with it. She silently hoped that Xavier wouldn’t consider offering her more food in the future.
