Her armor dangled precariously from her shoulders, the leather straps undone and forgotten, exposing. Liam’s free hand roamed upward along her bare back, his fingertips tracing the delicate knobs of her spine, feeling the shiver that rippled through her like a wave crashing against rocks. Goosebumps erupted under his touch, her skin flushing hot and alive.
"Elizabeth," he growled low against her throat, his voice gravelly with pent-up need, the vibration of it humming through her bones, "I’ve fantasied about this... about bending you over, claiming every inch of you while the world crumbles around us."
