The moment Qi Si appeared in Lin Chen and Tang Yu's line of sight, a gap silently opened in the bamboo forest that had, until then, been an inescapable maze. It was just wide enough for two people to pass through.
The path they had taken earlier reappeared perfectly before Qi Si, its other end stretching directly to their feet, distantly connecting the two separated players.
Scarecrows with human faces painted on them stood on either side of the path like quiet, well-behaved attendants welcoming and seeing off guests.
