Two centuries ago, on a vast, dark continent, two peoples separated by an ocean met for the first time. With no common language or script, they could only communicate through the most basic of gestures.

The newcomers struggled to adapt to the strange environment and oppressive, humid climate. They scrambled to fend off venomous insects and wild beasts, pitching flimsy tents on the damp earth. Eventually, they had no choice but to appeal to the indigenous people, who still lived off the land, for food.

Welcomed by the indigenous people, the outsiders soon discovered the land's wonders. Gold and precious gems lay scattered across the ground, and seeds tossed into the rich soil yielded bountiful harvests with little effort.
