The metal corridor had been ruined beyond recognition by the explosion, its floorboards twisted and warped upward. Only this vault door maintained its pristine, gleaming surface, without a single scratch left behind.
This alone proved the vault's exceptional durability. Old Ghost's eyes flickered. Scarlet veins bulged on the surface of his body as he suppressed his agony, rolling over to pick up the Diamond Mechanical Greatshield lying nearby.
"Come here..." he barked in a low voice as he turned around. He feared he wouldn't be able to handle the upcoming situation by himself.
