"Li Yu!" Mo Duo gathered her courage and marched right up to him. She needed an explanation. After holding it in all day, she was at her limit. She considered Li Yu a friend and had even gone out of her way to bring him an apple. It was one thing for him to refuse it, but to treat her like a captive was simply too much.
"Ah, Mo Duo... that's right..." Li Yu said, as if suddenly remembering something. He pulled a piece of grilled meat wrapped in a plastic bag from his coat and handed it to her. "I brought this specifically for you. Thanks for the apple."
Mo Duo's eyes widened in surprise. She pursed her lips and accepted the plastic bag. "Thank you..."
