"Good! Now take her to where she's supposed to work. She'll labor until daybreak, and even after that," Mira commanded with a satisfied smirk, her sharp gaze fixed on Sorayah. "Slaves who prove to be disobedient will endure hard labor until they break. You should know who your master is now."
