Military factions, survivor communities, and rival hunters all want him -- some as an ally, others as a resource to be exploited. But the man who started with a shoddy pistol and a broken world is not interested in being anyone's pawn. He is interested in upgrading his way to the top of the food chain, and the alien swarm that thought Earth was easy prey is about to discover what happens when one human refuses to stop growing.
