She smiled and walked towards the creepy window to watch the rain again. The scent of the rain stirred deep within her wolf, awakening timeless and blissful cubhood memories. She stood still as she recalled the days she spent in the countryside territory at her maternal grandmother’s den. She would always lie flat on the green grass beneath the open sky, her wolf embracing the falling rain with her eyes closed.
After the rain, she would stand behind her grandmother’s window and watch droplets cling to the leaves, shimmering under the light. She loved the scent of fresh earth and damp grass that filled the air, soothing her wolf.
